Submission Guidelines
By-line opportunities are available for practitioners to present
news, analysis or information pertaining to international trade
issue. All material will must be approved by the publisher and
edit staff. Articles will be edited for content, style and readability.
Description:
A short feature (800-1200 words) about an industry segment that
services the international trade community. All topics must be
relevant to the northeast international business community. Content
must focus on resources valuable to our readership.
Submission Guidelines:
Each article should be written as a resource for our readership.
For ease of reading, the style should be informal and avoid jargon
as much as possible. The article will be edited for length, grammar,
spelling, clarity and consistency. Authors may review and approve
a final proof before going to press. Articles will be selected
based upon their quality, interest to the northeast international
business community, industry mix and the author’s expertise
and insight.
NOTE: Submit material in text only format.
What to include:
- Author will receive a by-line and company credits will be included
at the end
of the article.
- 800-1200 words of text
- Photo headshot of the author (if available)
- Brief 40-45 word bio
of the author, company name and description of services
Do not include:
- Items that promote the company
- Products or services that are not new or add benefits to readership
- Information
or services that are not available in the northeast region
- Company
name should not be mentioned in the body of the article
